In her role as a program manager, Talton develops and leads initiatives that foster personal growth, learning opportunities, and community connection, ensuring individuals of all ages have access to resources that support their goals.
Talton is also a certified minority business advocate, using her platform to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion while helping entrepreneurs and community members navigate opportunities for advancement. Over the years, she has sharpened her skills in marketing, graphic design, and strategic communications, which she leverages to amplify voices, tell stories, and strengthen community engagement.

DR. DREW LEWIS

Dr. Drew Lewis is President of the Southeast Region School of Medicine, launching in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama in 2026 to help address America’s healthcare staffing shortage. A physician leader and healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lewis has dedicated his career to improving health outcomes, expanding access to care, and building sustainable healthcare systems.
As President and COO of United Healthcare System of Georgia, he has spearheaded community-based initiatives that close gaps in healthcare delivery, support underserved populations, and strengthen public health infrastructure.
At the Southeast Region School of Medicine, Dr. Lewis oversees the institution’s expansion across multiple states and internationally, ensuring the school grows into a hub for medical education and workforce development.
His leadership focuses on developing strong academic partnerships, recruiting top-tier faculty, and designing training programs that prepare future clinicians to thrive in diverse healthcare environments. He works closely with local and global partners to create sustainable models of care and education that address both regional and international needs.
